The dress code is black-tie optional. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo but can opt for a dark suit and a tie versus a bow tie. Women are asked to wear a formal evening gown.

The simple answer is yes! To keep costs down, we recommend renting at the airport with a group of people you will be traveling with, but seeing Ireland is an amazing place to sightsee pre and post-wedding festivities, renting a car would be the safest and most efficient option when entering the country to get around.

Yes, there is parking available in downtown Tralee near the church, as well as a full parking lot available on the castle grounds.

Ireland is very rainy, therefore, please bring an umbrella as a way to keep yourself dry in transit. All services will be held inside. The average temperature high is 15° C / 59° F. The average low is 9° C / 48° F. Keep this in mind when the temperature drops in the evening.

The closest airport to Tralee, Co.Kerry, Ireland is Shannon Airport located in Co. Clare. It will take guests who are flying in around 1.5 hours to get to Tralee. However, for guests who want to site-see beforehand, the next closest airport would be Dublin Airport, which will take closer to 4.5-5 hours to get to Tralee. This is an option for guests who want to see more of the country beforehand.

Everything is a VERY close proximity to the wedding festivities. The hotels downtown Tralee are about a 5-minute drive, and the same for the church to the castle. Everything is SO close and the cab services are aware of the event, so no need to worry about transportation.
